How April & I tied the knot on a budget.

Marry Us Sally - Victorian Wedding Celebrant-intimate-australian-bush-wedding-by-who-shot-the-photographer 2.jpg

We were seeking a relaxed and personal vibe with an intimate group of family and friends. We’d planned a forest wedding in the afternoon (weather pending) and then dinner back at my Mum & Dad’s.

April & I spent the whole day together, busily prepping and enjoying the company of folk as they began to roll in. We did choose to separate just before the start of the ceremony, we kind of pretended to have out first look, built up some anticipation… ya know?

The colours were amazing, there was cloud coverage and although cold, our short but sweet ceremony went smoothly before returning home for our feast.

By choosing to have our ceremony in a nature reserve, not only was it free, it offered an opportunity for us to have a unique experience in a location that hardly anyone would experience in the same way.

The below article was posted on Polka Dot Bride and thought it might be of interest if you’re running a tight budget (like we were) and you were desperate for the day to reflect you and your lovers values and ethics. We took a bit from column A & B. Mainly B which inevitably   impacted B.

Enjoy x
